Hello,

The purpose of this group is to provide a friendly and welcoming environment to anyone who wants to dance, or learn to dance, East Coast Swing.

We welcome everyone no matter your skill level - advanced, intermediate, beginner, or brand new to East Coast Swing. In each case, we encourage you to come out and have fun, learn, if you're new, or help teach others if you're more experienced.

Our intention is to provide a safe, social environment to dance, get some exercise, have some fun, and enjoy the company of those who share a common interest in this wonderful dance style.

The group started in March of 2008 with the intention of providing a place where we can get together on a regular basis to dance.

To encourage the development of the dance community in general, I also try to make contact with other groups throughout Denver that share the same interest. To that end, I have established a connection to Swing City Productions "Saturday Night Swing Dance". They meet on the second and fourth Saturday's of each month at:

At the time of this writing, the cover charge at their events includes free admission to the Skylark Lounge at 140 S Broadway in Denver.

I will be posting their events on this Meetup Group to provide the maximum number of opportunities for us all to get out and dance.
