Peninsula Dance Club - West Coast Swing & Social Club

We are a private dance club in Redwood City focusing on West Coast Swing and perhaps a little bit of Country in the near future. Dance venues have a hard time making a go of it. If you are plugged into the dance scene, then you know about many dance studio closures of late, due to high rent and low revenue from dancers. We had an opportunity to create a small private venue into a dance floor and went with it! It is located above the Napa Auto Parts store just south of Whipple in Redwood City. We have 3 levels of membership: Gold, Silver and Bronze. Gold: $120 anytime access and use of the club once a year for a free party. Silver-$85: Business hours access for practice, privates, etc. Bronze-$35: Supporting member and $5 entrance to all club dances. We have a WCS dance once a month, usually the 2nd or 3rd Saturday. Next dance is this Saturday, 8pm-Midnight, Admission $10 with an email invitation. We have food and drinks and ask our guests to bring a snack. It's fun and it's social. It's a GREAT way to get to know more people on a deeper level in the dance community! Come and check us out. It's not big, but it's friendly.

Beginner WCS lesson at 7pm by Tom Arrington! Dance starts at 8pm. Please bring a snack or drink to share! Partner not required.
Just a note, that this group didn't start with meetup. We've been an ongoing club for over a year now. So, don't let the attendance numbers of meetup scare you away. We usually have anywhere from 25-50 people at our dances.
