Hello Orlando Dancers! Bob and I want to share our enthusiasm for dance with YOU, whether you're a beginner, have taken some lessons or advanced, PARTNER OR NOT. Most of the venues where we hold our meetups offer a beginner lesson and is included in the price of admission which generally runs between $6-12. You are always welcome to come with a partner OR for those of you who haven't gotten out there and danced because you don't have a partner or if your significant other doesn't like to dance, THIS is the meetup for YOU! NO PARTNER NECESSARY TO JOIN IN THE FUN THIS GROUP HAS TO OFFER! The venues we dance at have ALL LEVELS of dancers, so don't shy away if you're a beginner. NOW is the time to get out there and DANCE! We are open to ALL suggestions such as new venues, events and lessons, so please do not hesitate to email! The more dance information we gather, the more we can pass on to all of you! Please check out our EXTENSIVE CALENDAR as we have posted many drop in classes and other dance events around town other than the regularly scheduled meetups. For the first time ever at Whirl & Twirl, we?ll be featuring a big band! Echoes of the Cotton Club, the Savoy Ballroom, Roseland and Small?s Paradise. These were the clubs and dance halls where jive thrived. Now Kid Dutch presents Harlem Madness to bring it all back! Harlem Madness(tm) is a 10-11 piece band that focuses primarily on hot jazz of the Harlem Renaissance. Read more
